Julie, Office Manager
Julie has been with Skyway Animal Hospital for over 40 years. She is always happy to greet you at the front desk and enjoys spending that extra time with clients to “understand their pet’s needs in order to provide the exceptional veterinary wellness service provided by our doctors and staff.”
In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, her two cats, Max and Hobbit, and gardening.
Lauren, Veterinary Technician
Lauren has been with Skyway Animal Hospital for over 22 years. Lauren’s primary responsibility at the hospital is assisting the doctors in caring for the animals in the exam rooms. She enjoys interacting with the clients and their pets while assisting in handling and comforting the animals.
In her spare time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her family and gardening. She is also an avid Clemson Tigers fan. When she’s not enjoying life in sunny Florida, she loves being in the mountains.
Wanda, Receptionist
Wanda has been with Skyway Animal Hospital for over 21 years. She is most likely the first smiling face you encounter when you walk through the front door. She does everything she can to ensure that from the moment you sign in until the moment you are seen by the doctor, all goes as smoothly as possible. Wanda “loves getting to know our clients and all of their furry family members.”
Wanda grew up in St. Petersburg and in her spare time she loves to go camping, fishing, hiking and biking in Florida. She also enjoys hanging out with her family and friends.
Sonya, Veterinary Technician
Sonya has been with Skyway Animal Hospital for over 16 years. You will most likely find Sonya assisting the doctors in caring for the animals in the exam rooms. She loves the bonds that she builds with the patients and “educating the clients on things they may not be familiar with regarding their animals well-being and health.”
In her spare time, Sonya enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons and enjoys being outdoors.
Kelly, Kennel Attendant
Kelly has been with Skyway Animal Hospital for over 2 years. She assists in caring for and loving on the animals in her care in the boarding facility/kennel. She absolutely “loves taking care of your fur babies when you can’t be with them.”
In her spare time, she will be the first to hop on a boat and go fishing and scalloping and loves watching and cheering on the Tampa Bay Rays and the Pittsburgh Steelers!
Irene, Veterinary Technician
Irene has been with Skyway Animal Hospital for over 47 years. She can be seen on Saturday mornings assisting the doctors in the exam rooms caring for and treating the animals. She says she “enjoys working with animals and loves helping people understand their pets and how to take care of their medical needs.”
Irene’s biggest joy is doing anything with her two dogs. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and yoga in her spare time.
Courtnee, Veterinary Technician
Courtnee has been with Skyway Animal Hospital for over 4 months. She is one of the first people to greet you when you come in or when you give us a call. You can always find her helping anyone or any animal who needs assistance while at Skyway.
Courtnee grew up in Daytona Beach, FL. In her spare time, she enjoys being in or around the water, playing video games, baking, and cuddling with her fur babies, Bruno and Esme’.
