Professional Background
Originally from Houston, Texas, Dr. Dalene's journey through veterinary medicine started early, working at the front desk of a local veterinary clinic during college and gaining hands-on experience as an assistant and technician on Long Island while attending veterinary school. She graduated as part of the inaugural veterinary class at Long Island University before heading to Florida to complete a rotating small animal internship at BluePearl Tampa/Brandon.
Outside the Hospital
At home, she's kept on her toes by three perfect pets: Riley, a lovable shepherd mix, and two cats named Gremlin and Grouch. Outside the hospital, you'll find her spending time with family and friends, exploring new restaurants, or logging miles as she trains for her very first marathon.
